** Starting Sept 1, 2020 Masks will be mandatory for everyone, including visitors, volunteers, and staff **

• If you are feeling ill, even mildly, please do not come into the Safe Haven. Please call to let us know you will not be in. (604)794-7233

 

• Wash your hands upon arrival, and frequently, using soap and water for 20 seconds or using an alcohol-based hand sanitizer (hand sanitizer is available outside of each unit and many places through the house).

 

• Maintain physical distance from others (2m or 6ft).

 

• In the laundry room – only 1 person at a time at the sink area. If you are passing through the laundry room into the house, please do so quickly (ensuring doors are closed).

 

• Only 1 person/social group in a unit at a time.

 

• Nobody is to go down the back hallway in the house (towards the intake rooms) without express staff permission.

 

• Cough or sneeze into the bend of your arm. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.

 

• Limit unavoidable interactions with others to brief ones. Limit interactions with others during breaks.
