Animal Identification
Provide two forms of identification

A collar and tag: Include the pet's name, home phone number and address.

A form of permanent ID (microchip or tattoo): A microchip can be placed very easily at any vet appointment.
Register your pet's permanent ID and keep your contact information up-to-date.
If you move or change your phone number don't forget to update your pet's ID! Contact your vet so they can update their records.
If your pet is registered with the BC Pet Registry remember to update your information there as well.
