Chilliwack Animal Safe Haven Society

FUNDRAISING

We are a charitable, non-profit organization and therefore, fundraising will be on-going and crucial to the success and daily operation of the Haven. There are numerous ways in which we can achieve this. Listed below are some fundraising strategies that you may be able to help with. New ideas are always welcome and the more people involved the better our chances for success. All money raised goes to the animals and the operation of the Haven.

Your involvement could be as simple as manning a table handing out brochures!

Currently, the following volunteer positions are available at the Safe Haven

• Garage Sales

• Hot Dog Stand sales

• Distribution of the Haven leaflets

• Asking for private donations

• Distribution of door-to-door flyers

• Major Leagues Prime Rib Dinner ticket sales

• Annual Open House

• Manning tables at local community events

• Auctions

• Marketing and placement of advertising signs to local community businesses

• Dog events

• Christmas pictures with Santa and your pet

• Pet Adoptions

• Private and Group memberships
