Our Chilliwack Animal Safehaven "Thank You Dinner" was held on February 27th for our volunteers.
It was a lovely evening with approximately 60 people in attendance. The meal was nicely prepared & presented to us by the Vedder Mountain Rangers (similar to Girl Guides) - Collette Kolodychuk (our board treasurer) is associated with them and organized the dinner. The Rangers prepare these types of dinners as part of their community service. We were also fortunate to have St. Paul's Lutheran church donate the hall to us for the evening. The entertainment was provided by many of our own volunteers, a tap dancing troupe (part of the Happy Tappers). The Chilliwack Animal Safehaven Board of Directors would like our volunteers to know how much we appreciate them and the fantastic work that they are doing. A worthwhile event that was enjoyed by all.
