February Tree Planting

Many volunteers turned out at the end of February to help plant 3,000 cedar trees along 5-acres. After the trees were planted, sawdust was put down to protect the seedlings. Thank you to all who came out to help!

These two volunteers are involved in a mentoring program and came to help us after seeing our notice at Community Services.

Teens from Chilliwack Senior Secondary High School worked hard planting, and then protecting the seedlings.

Many hands make light work.

The President of the Safe Haven's Board of Directors was on hand, along with other Directors, pitching in where help was needed.

Making sure the seedlings are firmly planted.

Break time! Crowding around the food table.
