SPAY & NEUTER CLINIC
Spay/neuter surgery removes
reproductive organs, so cats and dogs cannot have offspring. Spay/neuter
surgery is performed under general anaesthesia. Animals usually return to
normal activity within 24 to 72 hours. Contrary to popular myth, spay/neuter
surgery does not spoil a pet's personality, nor does it make dogs and cats
fat and lazy. In fact, spay/neuter surgery has health and behavioural
benefits.
Spaying (Ovariohysterectomy)
- removes the ovaries and uterus from female cats and dogs to prevent the
animal from conceiving and giving birth.
Nuetering (Orchidectomy)
- removes the testicles from male cats and dogs to prevent the animal from
impregnating females.
DID YOU KNOW?
One female cat along with her
