Fencing
Bill
Henselwood had the fencing completed from the front to the back of our
property in August and had cedars planted along side the fence from
the road to the rea of the cat area.
This is an area we have been trying to get finished for over a year. Many
thanks to Bill.

New hours & renovations
The Safe Haven will be closed on Mondays as of December 31st.
We will also be closed from
Jan 20th to Feb 1st, 2008
for renovations.

Barn Sale Successes!
The last one of the season has come and gone. The "Barn Team"
and all their helpers have done an unbelievable job again this year! The total
sales brought in was $9600.00!

Annual General Meeting
Being held at the Haven on Wednesday, June 27th at 7:00 pm. All members are invited to attend.
The Barn Ladies are back with one of their famous Garage/Barn Sales!
The Barn Sale raised $1,686 in sold goods and $195 in hot dog sales! Thank you so much for your support! Below is the original advert for this event.

Our Chilliwack Animal Safehaven "Thank You Dinner" was held on February 27th for our volunteers.
It was a lovely evening with approximately 60 people in attendance. The meal was nicely prepared & presented to us by the Vedder Mountain Rangers (similar to Girl Guides) - Collette Kolodychuk (our board treasurer) is associated with them and organized the dinner. The Rangers prepare these types of dinners as part of their community service. We were also fortunate to have St. Paul's Lutheran church donate the hall to us for the evening. The entertainment was provided by many of our own volunteers, a tap dancing troupe (part of the Happy Tappers). The Chilliwack Animal Safehaven Board of Directors would like our volunteers to know how much we appreciate them and the fantastic work that they are doing. A worthwhile event that was enjoyed by all. See our photo album!
