The Chilliwack Animal Safe Haven Society is dedicated to saving homeless cats, helping pets stay in loving homes, and cultivating respect and awareness for the rights and needs of animals.

We believe adoption is vital; abandoned cats desperately need loving homes. But we cannot merely "adopt" our way out of the homeless animal problem. We must also reduce the number of animals at risk. There's an old saying that the ultimate goal of animal shelters is to put themselves out of business -- to realize the dream of a day when there are no more homeless cats. If every community reduced the number of animals at risk, we would be much closer to achieving that dream.

Donations, volunteers, and new members are always welcome. Or just to stop by for a visit any time during our office hours! Our adoptees would love to meet you. Thanks for visiting!

CAT OF THE MONTH - Jasmine [August, 2014]
Adult - Pure White - (SF) (DSH)
Jasmine is a healthy 10 year old beautiful female white cat. She is very gentle and likes to curl up in your lap and be petted. She would also like to sleep in the bed with you if allowed! She would do best as the only cat in the house. Jasmine will make someone a wonderful companion. If that could be you please contact the Safe Haven at 604-794-7233.
