We have many cats and kittens available for adoption at Safe Haven, as well as others in Foster Care. We are committed to finding a home for every animal in our care. Adoption services include foster care, health care (before and after adoption), spay/neuter surgery and adoption counseling.
Dave came to us July 2012 @ 7 years old because his owner was dying of Leukemia. He is blind in one eye. He is a sweet & loving boy; very friendly but a little on the shy side; gets along well with other cats. Dave’s beauty comes from within & he would be an extremely affectionate cat. Loves being petted.

To adopt an animal
Be at least 18 years of age
Have valid identification with your current address
Be able to verify that you can have a pet where you live
Be able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment, and proper care for your pet
Our foster care is lifesaving help for cats who need time or rehabilitation before they are ready to be adopted. Volunteer foster homes nurture the animals until they are old enough or well enough to be adopted. To volunteer as a foster care giver, please contact us. To help support a foster animal, please consider our Pet Sponsorship Program.
Before adoption, cats receive health screening, spay/neuter surgery (or arrangements made for surgery), de-fleeing and de-miting, and worming. All animals that are spayed and neutered at the Safe Haven will also be tattooed.
