The Chilliwack Animal Safe Haven
is managed by a Board of Directors representing the voices of
animals that are abandoned, unwanted and injured.
The purpose of the society is:
-
To represent homeless cats and kittens in the area by providing them with a permanent haven
-
To end where possible, the suffering of these animals by providing medical treatment, shelter, food, rescue, companionship and new homes by adoption
-
To provide for dogs to the extent of our abilities
-
To reduce the number of cats and kittens at risk through education and the promotion of a spay/neuter program in the community
-
To work with veterinarians; and liaise with other societies on issues that will affect animal care
