The Chilliwack Animal Safe Haven is managed by a Board of Directors representing the voices of animals that are abandoned, unwanted and injured.

The purpose of the society is:

  1. To represent homeless cats and kittens in the area by providing them with a permanent haven

  2. To end where possible, the suffering of these animals by providing medical treatment, shelter, food, rescue, companionship and new homes by adoption

  3. To provide for dogs to the extent of our abilities

  4. To reduce the number of cats and kittens at risk through education and the promotion of a spay/neuter program in the community

  5. To work with veterinarians; and liaise with other societies on issues that will affect animal care
