The Chilliwack Animal Safe Haven Society is a registered non-profit no-kill animal welfare organization supported solely by sponsorships, donations, grants, and bequests. The Chilliwack Animal Safe Haven is managed by a Board of Directors representing the voices of animals that are abandoned, unwanted, and injured.
The purpose of the society is:
To represent homeless cats and kittens in the area by providing them with a permanent haven;
To end, where possible, the suffering of these animals by providing medical treatment, shelter, food, rescue, companionship, and new homes by adoption;
To reduce the number of cats and kittens at risk through education and the promotion of a spay/neuter program in the community; and
To work with veterinarians and liaise with other societies on issues that will affect animal care.
